What is the value of 3x^2 - 5xy + 5y^2 for x = -6 and y = 2?

If you put in x for -6 and y for 2, you get 3(-6)^2 - 5(-6)(2) + 5(2)^2. 

Simplifying all the numbers, it's 3(36) + 30(2) + 5(4), and then 108+60+20. Going along, you get 188
