Personally I'd solve this inequality for y first:  y < x-3.

That immediately eliminates (6,2) and (2,6).

Starting from y < x-3 and letting 2 sub for x and -1 sub for y, is the following true or false?

-1 < 2 -3     NO.  -1 < -1 is false.  Was there a fourth answer choice?

(2,6) because if you substitute the x and y in the equation with the x and y from the ordered pair and solved, you’ll see that it should look like -4<-3, and that answer is a true answer
