Hi,

Here is my work:

Equation;

[tex] \frac{q}{2} \leqslant - 8[/tex]

Multiply both sides of inequality by 2.

[tex]2 \times \frac{q}{2} \leqslant - 2 \times 8[/tex]

Reduce the numbers with greatest common divisor 2.

[tex]q \leqslant - 2 \times 8[/tex]

Multiply the numbers.

[tex]q \leqslant - 16 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: result[/tex]
