Carlos ran 8.25 miles/min
I converted 3/4 into a decimal - 0.75
So the number would be 57.75. I then divided 57.75/7.

Carlos ran 8.10 for each miles. 3/4 reduces to .25 so you add it to 57 and you get 56.75 so you divide it by 7 miles and you get  8.10

the why you solve it is you divide time over the dasance

T/D=M
