Greetings!

Firstly, the slope is found by rearranging the formula:

3y = 4x + 39

y = [tex]\frac{4x}{3}[/tex] + [tex]\frac{39}{3}[/tex]

When x is 0, y = 0(x) +  [tex]\frac{39}{3}[/tex], so the y intercept is [tex]\frac{39}{3}[/tex]

Next, the slope is simply the number in front of the x,

So  [tex]\frac{4x}{3}[/tex] can be rearranged to  [tex]\frac{4}{3}x[/tex], so the slope would be [tex]\frac{4}{3}[/tex].

Hope this helps!
