Rewrite the equation y= 2/3x - 4 in standsrd form

The standard form: [tex]Ax+By=C[/tex]

[tex]y=\dfrac{2}{3}x-4[/tex]     multiply both sides by 3

[tex]3y=2x-12[/tex]     subtract 2x from both sides

[tex]-2x+3y=-12[/tex]      change the signs

[tex]\boxed{2x-3y=12}[/tex]
