Hello.

Y= 2/7

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

5y+2−3(4y)=0

5y+2+−12y=0

(5y+−12y)+(2)=0(Combine Like Terms)

−7y+2=0

Step 2: Subtract 2 from both sides.

−7y+2−2=0−2

−7y=−2

Step 3: Divide both sides by -7.

−7y/−7=−2/−7

y=2/7

Have a nice day.
