TRUE: The researcher is most likely studying absolute thresholds.

In Psychology, the absolute threshold for hearing (ATH) is the lowest sound level a person with ordinary hearing can detect when there is no other sound present. In an experiment, individuals are kept in a room and let the researcher know when they can hear different tones.
