Since x - 3 < 0 for -2 < x < 3, |x-3| = -(x-3)

Since x + 2 > 0 for -2 < x < 3, |x+2| = x+2

Since x - 5 < 0 for -2 < x < 3, |x-5| = -(x-5).

So y = -(x-3) + (x+2) -(-(x-5)) = 3 - x + x + 2 + x - 5 = x.

y = x, if -2 < x < 3.
