n/(5+6)=4 Simplify the problem. n/11=4 Get n by itself. 11(n/11)=(4)11 This removes 11 on the left side and you must multiply the right side if you multiplied the left. n=4×11 Multiply. n=44 (OPTIONAL) Check your work. 44/(5+6)=4 44/11=4 4=4 n=44 is correct.
