Answer:Johnny's disguise idea because he doesn't want to cut his hair that he took so long to grow and that it symbolizes that he is a greaser. What does Pony mean when he says, "I was supposed to be the deep one"

He means that Johnny could get more meaning out of some of the stuff in there than he could.
