[tex] x^{\frac{m}{n}}=\sqrt[n]{x^{m}} [/tex]

so
(m^(2/3))^(1/2)=m^(2/3 times 1/2)=m^(2/6)=m^(1/3)= [tex] \sqrt[3]{m^{1}} [/tex]= [tex] \sqrt[3]{m} [/tex]
