Hi there! The process human cells use to generate ATP is called cellular respiration. It results in the creation of 36 to 38 ATP per molecule of glucose. Glycolysis is just one part of the process of creating ATP. Glycolysis creates pyruvic acid, which in turn contributes to the process of cellular respiration, to make ATP. Hope this helps!
