Given that the mole rate of NH3 and HCl is 1:1 their concentrations in the gas are equal:

Following Dalton's law:

[tex]P_{NH_3}=y_{NH3}*P=0.5*4.4 atm= 2.2 atm[/tex]

[tex]P_{HCl}=y_{HCl}*P=0.5*4.4 atm= 2.2 atm[/tex]

The Kp

[tex]Kp=P_{HCl}*P_{NH_3}=(2.2atm)*(2.2atm)[/tex]
