The mass of (NH4)3PO4 is 111.75grams.

HOW TO CALCULATE THE MASS:

  • The mass of a substance can be calculated by multiplying the number of moles by its molecular mass. That is;

mass (g) = moles (mol) × molar mass (g/mol)

  • Molar mass of (NH4)3PO4 is calculated as follows:

{14 + 1(4)}3 + 31 + 16(4)

= (14+4)3 + 31 + 64

= 54 + 31 + 64

= 149g/mol

mass in grams = 149 × 0.75

mass in grams = 111.75g

Therefore, the mass of (NH4)3PO4 is 111.75grams.
