The average of six numbers is 18.2. Four of the numbers are each decreased by five, while two of the numbers are each increased by eight. What is the average of the new set?

Mean of 20 no.=18

Sum of 20 no.=20×18 i.e.360

When 2 is added to each no.,we get

360+(20×2)

=400

Now,new mean value of 20 no.=400÷20

=20
