What are the degree and leading coefficient of the polynomial

The degree would be the highest exponent & the leading coefficient is the number in front of the variable with the highest exponent.

For example, [tex]5x^2+29x+590[/tex] would be a polynomial to the second degree as the highest exponent is [tex]x^2[/tex] & 5 as the leading coefficient as it is the number in front of the variable to the highest degree.
