Does anyone know pythagorean theorem

My guess is that anybody who has ever been in
a math class above 7th Grade level knows it.

The theorem says:

In any triangle that has a 90-degree angle in it,

     (the longest side)² = (the shortest side)²  +  (the medium side)² .
