The question says,'name the classification of matter used in the 1800. In the 1800s, matters were divided into two distinct classes which are organic and inorganic matter. Organic matters are those that have life, that is, living things while inorganic matters are those matters that were of geological origin, for examples:air, rocks, minerals, etc.
