The Old Kingdom lasted from 2700-2200 BCE. The Middle Kingdom lasted from 2100-1800 BCE, while the New Kingdom was from 1500-1000 BCE. During the New Kingdom, the Egyptians experienced a new type of religion, and were introduced to new animals and inventions.
