Shakespeare's plays are difficult to understand for modern students because of the form of writing. In that time period, they used different writing styles and phrases. They also used words different from words we used now. As time moved on our language evolved more, and we eventually forgot how to write in Shakespearean. (the form of writing Shakespeare used.)
