The electoral college is known to assist small states as well as geographically
large states with small populations. Do you think that the electoral college benefits
the small states? What other system could be implemented to help states with
small populations?

Answer:

The electoral college does help the smaller states with having an "equal" say in the overall election. But the electoral college is a dinosaur way of electing officials. It's left over from pre-Civil War days. I think removing the electoral college and having the winners based on the actual popular vote would help ALL states, not just the smaller ones.
