Janie needs to knit 5 shirts. Maddy needs to make 12.5 shirts.They need to do this every day for 9.5 days. How many shirts in total (Maddy and Janie combined) do they make by the end of the 9.5 days?

Answer:
9.5 x (8 + 12.5)
