you are running in a 5 kilometer race and you have set a goal to finish within 30 min. At the 1 kilometer mark you have been running for 8 min. if you keep this pace, will you reach you goal? Explain plz.

You will not reach your goal because if every kilometer is 8 minutes than 5 kilometers would equal 8x5=40
