STEPS FOR SOLVING LINEAR EQUATION

s+2 2/1 =61

Multiply both sides of the equation by 2.

2s+2×2+1=122

Multiply 2 and 2 to get 4.

2s+4+1=122

Add 4 and 1 to get 5.

2s+5=122

Subtract 5 from both sides.

2s=122−5

Subtract 5 from 122 to get 117.

2s=117

Divide both sides by 2.

s= 2117... i think :)
