Nuts to you shoppe mixed 9.2 pounds of peanuts and 6 pounds of cashews. the mixture was packed into cans holding 0.4 pound each. how many cans were used?

38 cans were used. If you take 9.2 pounds and add 6 pounds you get 15.2 pounds of nuts. you need to take the 15.2 and divide it by 0.4 which is how much nuts go into each can. when you divide it you get 38 cans.
