What is the slope of the line that passes through (10,-1) and (-4,7)

From two given points (x₁ , y₁) & (x₂ , y₂) the slope of line "m"

m = [tex]\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1} = \frac{y1-y2}{x2-x1}[/tex]

m = [tex]\frac{7-(-1)}{-4-10} = \frac{8}{-14}[/tex]

m = -4/7

Also, you can try 2nd formula answer will be the same.
