At a bookstore, you buy a calendar for $5 and some books for $3 each. You spend a total of $26. How many
books do you buy? Use the following equation to find the number of books b bought; 3b+5=26

You buy 7 books

3b+5=26
*subtract 5 to the 26 side*
3b=21
Now divide 21 by 3
B=7
So there are 7 books bought. ^^
