The question is what would 3.3 be as a fraction. To see that we need to turn it into a fraction. Lets multiply 3.3 by 1/1 and we get (3.3*1)/1=3.3/1. Now we have turned it into a fraction. Next we can multiply the numerator and the denumerator by 10/10 and we get (3.3*10)/1*10 and we get 33/10. Now we can separate it like 30/10 + 3/10 and we see that is 3 3/10.
