Why did slavery replace indentured servitude in the colonies as time went on?

Answer: Landowners found slaves more a profitable thing then indentured one. Because indentured servants leave after a significant amount of years in the labor force. While slaves you could buy them and breed them, like dogs perhaps. And they didn't have a choice for freedom. Also racism was starting to be a thing, so with also should be taken into account.
