If I have 2 moles of apple, how many apples do I have?

To work out the number of items from the number of moles use the following formula:

N = n*NA

N = number of particles/items
n = number of moles
NA = Avogadro’s number ≈ 6.02*10^23

Therefore:

N = (2)*(6.02*10^23)
N = 1.20*10^24 apples
