Mr. Brady has a 3/4​-acre land site. He plans to divide the site into smaller parcels.Which size parcel should he choose to divide his land evenly ?

He plans to divide the site into smaaller even pieces. He can do this as shown below:

3/4 - acre in words = Three - quarters

This means the addition of 3 (quarters) :

1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 3/4

Hence: 3/4 ÷ 3

= 3/4 x 1/3

= 3

Therefore, he should use a 3 size parcel to divide his land evenly
