0.17 becomes 0.2 square miles.
This is because the tenth number is the number right after the decimal point.
If the number in the hundredths column (the one after the tenths) is greater than 5, the tenth will be rounded one number up, so 0.17 becomes 0.2.

If the number in the hundredths column is less than 5, e.g. 0.13, the number would be rounded to 0.1.
