g(x)=2x+3 and g(x)=1 so 2(1)+3 which equals 5 you don’t need f(x) because you don’t have an x value

g(x)=1 <=> 2x+3=1 <=> 2x=1-3=-2 <=> x= -1
=> f(-1)= -(-1)-5=1-5=-4
