We know that the centripetal acceleration is given by;

ac=rω2

ω = 3 revolutions per second

If 1 rev/s = 2π rad/s

3 rev/s = 3 rev/s × 2π rad/s/ 1 rev/s = 6π rad/s

ac= 0.34 m × 6π rad/s

ac = 6.4 ms^2

To find the force;

F = mac

m = 0.26 kg

F = 0.26 kg ×  6.4 ms^2

F = 1.664 N
