Multiply 4 cups by 3/3 so the denominators will be the same
So 4/1 •3/3 (doesn’t change the actual number because it’s 4•1)=12/3
Now it should make this easier
12/3 and 2/3
Since the denominators are the same you can ignore them for a second
12 and 2
How many times does 2 fit into 12
6
Ian can make 6 dumplings
