You can make the equation by saying x is Asher’s age. Then

x + (x + 8) = 20

This simplifies to

2x = 12

And x = 6

Therefore, Asher is 6 years old

if 2+8=10 then 12+8=20 so Asher is 12 years old while His sister is 20 cus we're adding Ash age to his sister which we don't kno what her age is but at the same time we both know that whatever her age is it adds up to 20
