The width of a rectangle is 4x−1.5 feet and the length is 1.5x+3 feet. Find the perimeter of the rectangle.

First you take width and multiply that by 2 so you can find half of the perimeter

2(4x-1.5)=8x-3

Than multiply the length by 2 to find the other half

2(1.5X+3)= 3x+6

Than add the 2 halves together

3x+6+8x-3=11x+3

The perimeter is 11x+3
