Solve this equation: 2s + s + 12 = 132. A. s = 40 B. s = 9 C. s = 120 D. s = –30

First add common like terms to get 3s+12=132, now we have to leave s by itself so lets subtract 12 from both sides to get 3s=120, now divide both sides by 3 to get s=40 or A
