[tex] \frac{2}{5} * \frac{3}{9} [/tex]

So you go from a straight line from one number to another.

2*3 = 6
5*9 = 45

[tex] \frac{6}{45} [/tex]

Now simplify and you get your final answer [tex] \frac{2}{15} [/tex]
