The unit rate would be
[tex] \frac{1.44}{1 battery} [/tex]

To get that answer, you would have to divide 13 ÷ 9.

9 batteries and 13 dollars if you divide 13 by 9 you would get 1.4 repeating but there would be one battery to $1.44
