The answer is A 2 cause if you multiply it by 2 you get 4 then add 3 to 4 you get 7 which makes the answer A 2

2x+3=7
2x=4
x=2                                    
If you think about it multiply a number by 2 is twice and then increase it by 3 you are adding three.
