x = -30
First combine like terms (0.02x - 0.01x = 0.01x) (-4 - 2 = -6)
0.01x - 6 = -6.3
Then add 6 (-6 + 6 = 0) (-6.3 + 6 = -0.3)
0.01x = -0.3
Then divide by 0.01 to find what x is alone (0.01x ÷ 0.01 = x) (-0.3 ÷ 0.01 = -30)
x=-30
