We know 10 drops = .1 fluid ounce
to find the volume of 1000 drops, we need to find the relation between 10 and 1000 drops. 1000 divided by 10 = 100. So if we know that 10=0.1 and we multiply 10 drops by 100 to get 1000 drops, we also need to multiply 0.1 by 100 because what you do to one side of the equal sign, you have to do to the other. So, if we multiply 0.1 by 100 it equals 10. So 1,000 drops is equal to 10 fluid ounces. Hope this helps!
