8[7 - (6x - 6)] + 6x  =  0

8[7 - 6x + 6] + 6x  =  0

56 - 48x + 48 + 6x  =  0

104 - 42x  =  0                       .

- 42x  =  - 104                        .

x  =  52 / 21

x  ≈  2.476
