you would add the parantheses around '3-4'
so
9-(3-4)+5= 15
9- (-1)+5=15
9+1+5=15
10+5=15
15=15
hope this helped!! xx

You should put the parentheses as

9-(3-4)+5=15

When you solve this through standard order of operations, you will see it equals 15.

9-(3-4)+5=15
9-(-1)+5=15
10+5=15
15=15
