The additive inverse of a number , a is -a so that a + -a = 0  and -a + a = 0

So if I had to find a additive inverse 2 it would be -2 because it is give you 0 as the answer

- 3 + 3 = 0
-25 + 25 = 0

The additive inverse of an integer means it's just the opposite.
So if the integer is 3, then the additive inverse is -3.
If the integer was -5, the additive inverse would be 5.
