A perfect cube is a number that is made from multiplying a number by itself, and then again by itself, so it could be written as AxAxA, or A^3 or "A to the power of 3" or "A cubed". If you cube 4 you get 64, so that is too small for our purposes. 9^3 is 729 and that is too large for the question. If you cube any of the numbers 5, 6, 7 or 8 you get a perfect cube between 100 and 600.
