Hey there,
Total = 860
Section 1 = 270
Section 2 = x + 150
Section 3 = x
Section 2 + 3 = 860 - 270
                 = 590
x+150+x = 590 
x+x = 590 - 150
2x = 440
x= 220
Thus there were 220 spots in Section 2
