The answer to this question would be: it would be increase

The kinetic energy of a molecule is influenced by the temperature. In this case, the temperature is increased from 20ºc to 40ºc so its kinetic energy would be increased. The increases won't be too big since the temperature used in the formula is Kelvin, not Celcius.
